Under the guidance of Robert Kennedy, SJ, Roshi, there are a number of communities
that practice Interfaith Zen. These groups are facilitated by students
of Roshi Kennedy and are open to all who are interested in the practice of Zen meditation. Many members of the groups
are also students of Roshi Kennedy.
There are several groups in Northern New Jersey, one of which is
represented on this web site. This is the
Clear Mountain Zen Community of Montclair, NJ.
Roshi
Kennedy is the chairperson of the Department of Theology at St. Peter’s
College in Jersey City and a psychotherapist in private
practice. He is the author of
Zen Spirit, Christian Spirit
and the recently published, Zen Gifts to Christians. |
